1995 FLYING COLOURS TAXI OPERATOR

When my friend married our business partner in PENTA EXPONENT, we separate ways she stayed at Japan with her husband and I left PENTA EXPONENT to my brother Ramon Tan and his friend Eric Mogarte. Until now Penta is existing and my brother successfully continued the business and become successful. I went on sabatical leave for a while then I decided to rent a store somewhere in Aniban Bacoor Cavite, with the help of my good friend Mary Anne Johnson, my former aerobics instructress at Slimmers World, who became a very good friend of mine until now. I open a Flying Colours Tshirts printing business together with her, whereas we get whole sale shirts and silk screen printed it with the companies’ logo for their promotional giveaways during year end and sell them.

1996 FLYING COLOURS T-SHIRT PRINTING BUSINESS

To support my self, I designed a rent to own taxi for taxi drivers so they will take good care of the car they were driving, they can own it afterwards. While I am working on my shirt printing I have 2 taxis running as well. Sometimes I driven those taxis to pick up shirts from Divisoria (one of the wholesale market place in Manila). My store was a house away from my husband’s home. I met him there, he always drop by to play scrabbles board game with me. He have seen my sacrifices in business and how hard it was to support myself. And proposed. I have to give up all my businesses that is his condition but promised maybe someday he will build a store one day for me. The rest is history.
