CREATIVE DIRECTOR - PENTA EXPONENT PHILIPPINES JAN 1987 TO JAN 2003
Designing and manufacturing new stuff toys and novelties for export. The making of this Corporation were just an accident. While I was still in school I suggested to my group of friends to raise fund to help us for our art materials. SO , I ve got this idea to handcraft stitch a felt clothe and stuff it with cottons and sell personalized stuff lettered names. I gave my brother Ramon as a gift since he is paying my tuition fees those times. And proudly my brother displayed it on his office wall. One of his co-worker named Harry noticed it and ordered a set of all the alphabets. We suspect that he will just copy the patterns, yet we still did his orders for we need cash. Obviously he did copied us and become succesful. Then I heard he was wanted and he just left for he was just illegal alien in our country that time. A persistant Japanese Man keeps on asking for Harry in my brother’s office several times, finally my brother asked him, “do you mind me asking why are you looking for Harry?” then the Japanese man told him, he was in trouble because he ordered 100,000 letters from harry and now he cant find him. Then my brother pointed at his wall where my gift were to him ..“are you talking about those.” And the Japanese man said "exactly that." My brother proudly said .. that was my sister who made those for him. Then together with my best friend, myself, my brother and his friend and the Japanese man we met and decided to form a corporation and named it Penta Exponent for we are 5 in the company. SO, everything went well for the good. The rest is history.
1992 - Pamela Tan Gervacio, together with Min Nakayama were given by Mina Gabor show "More Than Export", a Young Entrepreneurial Skill Recognition.
